Tru By Hilton Colorado Springs Airport

The room was tiny, and noise carried straight through the LVP floors and between rooms. With small trash cans and housekeeping only every other day, rubbish piled up. There was no microwave, coffee maker, or way to heat water in the room, so I had to go to the lobby for coffee or to use a microwave. The whole setup felt like a “Van life” hotel, though maybe I missed the idea. I won't stay here again.

Thalia made a tough arrival go smoothly. A previous guest delayed the room, but she got it cleaned faster and arranged alternate Wi-Fi so we could work after a long flight. She also helped me recover my Hilton Honors details and handled my colleague's check-in with real grace. I'm a frequent traveler, and this Tru by Hilton stands out for its service. I'd recommend it to friends, family, and coworkers.

Jess turned a confusing check-in into a great four-night stay. She found my actual reservation, which was still active, and stayed cheerful and helpful throughout. The mix-up started after I had checked in through the Hilton app and chosen a room, but the first agent misread my name and pulled up someone else's booking with the same initials. He was pleasant, but I was told my selected room was gone, so I insisted something was off and Jess stepped in. The room was clean, comfortable, and stocked with towels and dishes. The pillows were the usual barely-there Hilton kind, though folding them over helped a bit. I travel a lot for work and stay at Hilton properties; this Homewood Suites was my best stay of the year. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Colorado Springs.

The breakfast was what drew me here, and it delivered. Staff were really nice, and the room felt cozy. I'd stay again if I'm ever nearby.
