Marriott Columbia

I’ve been coming here for years and always have a great stay. Some of the employees have been here just as long, and they’re really committed to their customers. The restaurant staff were charming and had everything under control.

Lorraine at the front desk made my stay memorable. She welcomed me with a warm smile and was personable, patient, and attentive. She took time to answer my questions and make sure my reservation details were right. Her kindness and professionalism really lifted the experience. The Marriott in Columbia, South Carolina, was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. My room was spotless, quiet, and relaxing after a long day, and the lobby and common areas felt inviting. Everyone I encountered was courteous and helpful. I felt cared for from the moment I arrived, and I’d happily return on my next trip. If you’re visiting Columbia, I recommend staying here and saying hello to Lorraine.

We ended up walking from our concert at Colonial Life Arena, and there were lots of restaurants close by. The hotel’s location and atmosphere were great, and our room looked nice and was clean. The workers weren’t rude, but the service wasn’t anything special. They weren’t very welcoming or approachable and didn’t go the extra mile. They could improve, since the service doesn’t match the hotel’s standard.

Xavier, Lorraine, Brittany, and Christopher made my Great Aunt’s birthday weekend one of my best stays. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. As a Marriott associate who travels often and loves making lasting memories, I appreciated being treated with such genuine care and professionalism. If you’re in downtown Columbia, SC, stay here. The hospitality is truly exceptional.
