WoodSpring Suites Columbus West - Hilliard

For a good price, the room comes with a full size fridge, cook top, and cabinets. The property is near a gas station and easy to get to. The exterior is maintained, and the area feels quiet, with good lighting. Inside, you notice how clean the place is, and the team works to meet your needs while making the stay feel safe and affordable. Shout out to Kurt, Lynn, Jeremy, Amber, Jessica, and Jessica, Brian and Danny. They're rock stars here.

I've stayed at a few extended stay places, and this is the best one I've been in. The front desk team is great to work with, the cleaning staff are friendly, and the facility is very clean. Staff keep watch over the parking lot at night, which helps make it feel safe. I'd definitely recommend it.

We're here for a long stay with my two daughters, and I feel completely safe and welcome. My youngest is autistic and gets excited whenever she runs into Lynn and Brian in the hall. They greet her every time, even if they've already seen her ten times that day, and let her ramble. They've never made me feel bad about my sometimes wild child. The common areas are always clean, and I see someone cleaning almost every time I come or go. I'm so thankful we landed here. Thank you, Columbus West Woodspring! :)

I planned to stay for two weeks, but work, the cost, the convenience, and especially the terrific staff have kept me here much longer. I've spent quite a while here before writing this, and I work remotely from my room, car, and phone, so I notice how often staff clean. They mop the breezeways, halls, corridors, and elevator, sweep the lot and entrance, and take out trash. They care about the people staying here, are friendly and helpful, and sometimes patient to a fault with demanding or unfriendly guests. This is an extended stay, so it has a different feel from a standard place like Marriot or Hilton. Still, it has a lot of convenient features: a small gym behind a secure entrance, fresh coffee in the morning, package and mail holding for longer stays, and a vending area with drinks and snacks around the clock. The secure laundry area is clean, the washers and dryers work well, and the prices are reasonable. You can pay by debit or credit card. A large chain gas station and convenience store is next door, with a paved, lit path from the hotel. Hilliard and the Rome Hilliard strip are minutes away for restaurants, movies, planet fitness, and shopping. Access to #270 is seconds away. There's also a Tim Hortons across the street. The lot and building are well lit and covered by security cameras, with several locked entrances that need a key card. There's night security too. My non-smoking suite has a great air conditioner that's been ice cold since I arrived. The room is a quaint kitchenette setup with a flat screen T.V., Direct T.V. channels, Wi-Fi, a fridge, stovetop, and cupboards. I use T-Mobile home internet instead of the hotel Wi-Fi, and get broadband speed here, with two towers nearby. Utensils and silverware can be bought at the desk, or you can walk to a local store. Uber, Lyft, Grub Hub, Door Dash, Amazon Fresh, Kroger's Grocery, and pizza places also deliver or offer rides. Room cleaning can be daily, weekly, or every two weeks depending on what you need. That includes the floors, shower, sinks, tub, fresh bedding and towels, and toilet paper. The doors feel more secure than those at some luxury hotels I've stayed in. The interior is clean and comfortable, if not top of the line. The exterior recently got a new paint job, though I didn't think it needed one, and it looks great. My one real complaint is the transient guests who come and go. Sometimes they're wonderful business travelers or people visiting briefly, but at other times some sketchy folks make the place feel less comfortable until they check out a day or so later. Staff seem aware of who's staying, and will ask people who need to leave to do so. They care about the hotel and its guests. It's a great place, and I'd recommend it.
