The bed was the one real problem. It was so hard that my wife and I kept turning over trying to get comfortable, and neither of us slept well. We were in a top floor room with a large patio overlooking Main Street, which would be nice to use in warmer weather than February. Inside, the room was well appointed, and the bathroom was large and extremely clean. The interior is decorated nicely, but the hotel shares a building with other tenants and the signs don't make it clear which doors lead to O Steakhouse or the parking garage.

We had three rooms as a family, and every one was better than expected. The amenities and comfort were wonderful, and the staff made us all feel welcome. Amy, the MOD, was especially gracious.

The online check-in and checkout were slick and easy. Our room was crisp and clean, and the extra pillows we'd requested ahead of time were already there when we arrived, which saved us having to track them down. We had tickets for a show at CCA, just a quick walk from the hotel, and enjoyed browsing the downtown shops the next day.

We live nearby and booked a night to celebrate our anniversary. We loved it. The hotel was clean, modern, and felt very secure, and it was affordable too. We'll be back next time we need a night away.

I'm a pretty low-key country girl, but I picked this fancy place while getting ready to drop my daughter off for a six-month semester abroad in New Zealand. I'm glad I did, it was gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I'd highly recommend The Hotel Concord.
