Deluxe Inn & Suites Corpus Christi I 37

Both rooms I’d reserved were dirty when we arrived. The floors hadn’t been swept or mopped, there was trash under the dresser, and the bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly. There were soap pieces and a shampoo wrapper in the shower. Some lights didn’t work right, and the pool was dirty too. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I wouldn’t come back.

That bathtub was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I’ve stayed in pricier hotels where the tubs were yuck, but this one was lovely. Everything else was great too, though people can’t park very well. Adding breakfast would make it superb. I’ll stay here again and again if I need to. Keep up the good work, guys.

The parking lot was flooded, and the room looked like it might have flooded too. The floor was dirty, and the toilet was so loose I thought it would fall apart. The beds were comfy. Our AC wasn’t working when we arrived, so an attendant came at 9 p.m. to fix a wire that was supposed to give it power. By 2 a.m. the thermostat showed 60 degrees, but the room was still at least 78. I complained in the morning and asked if they could reduce the price, but the staff member wouldn’t budge. She offered a longer stay, which I hadn’t planned on. Horrible experience. I won’t come back.

The office had a weird, dingy smell, and our first room was for smokers. We don’t smoke, and the odor was overwhelming. When we went back to complain, they tried to upsell us to a nonsmoking room. The whole experience was gross, nothing like the clean and friendly service other people describe. If you’re coming to Corpus, book ahead. We showed up on the fly during a convention when rooms were booked everywhere. Want to know what a county jail feels like? Try this place. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
