Hotel Morrison FLL Airport

The room at Hotel Dello was much larger than I expected, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Large windows looked out on blue skies and palm trees, a beautiful view. It's very close to the airport and near Dania Point, with lots of attractions and photo spots. They held our luggage for a few hours while we waited for transportation to FLL. There's also a small restaurant onsite, handy if you want a quick bite without going anywhere.

We had a great stay after our evening flight into FLL. The big windows faced a huge Christmas tree and the airport, but we couldn't hear the planes. Everything was working and smelled pleasant, and the room was a decent size with nice decor. The airport shuttle was quick, clean, and professional. They also let us store our bags after checkout. Breakfast was good, and the person looking after it was very nice. The pool area was beautiful, the pool clean, and towels were provided. There are plenty of nearby places to eat and shop. We had good pizza at a shop a block away, and picked up milk for our toddler at the dollar store next door. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

After a terrible experience at another so-called hotel, we booked here late at night and got a beautiful, clean room. The covered parking was excellent and only $10 a night, which kept our rental motorcycles safe from the weather. They also held our luggage when our flight was delayed so we wouldn't have to carry it around while we waited. There's a convenience store across the street and a Walgreens within walking distance. An IHOP is opposite the Walgreens, and the service there was amazing too. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean, the rooms spacious, and it was about 10 minutes from the airport. The airport shuttle was free in both directions. But the voucher situation was frustrating. Our airline paid for a night after we missed a flight and gave us a $20 hotel voucher. At the desk, we explained we'd never used one before. They said it worked like a credit card and would be added to the room for restaurant or vending purchases. We left around 4:45am the next day and the front desk checked us out as they saw us go. Our flight was then canceled, and when I called, the hotel said they couldn't do anything once checkout had gone through. The airline put us on a 4:30pm flight but wouldn't pay for another hotel. My husband had food poisoning and had been vomiting nonstop for two days, so I paid $208 to return to Dello. Today I saw a $29.29 food charge from the voucher night. I called, but the manager said nothing could be done. I don't care about the $30 itself; it's how they treated us that bothered me. We're Diamond members and spend a lot at Hilton hotels. What a shame.
