Summit Inn

The room was just okay, nothing special. The shampoo and soap weren’t good, and there’s no coffee pot in the room or office. The owners came across as a little rude and quick to overreact. I probably won’t stay at this motel again.

Don’t judge it by the outside. I was impressed by how clean it was and by the staff, and the price was right. The rooms had recently been renovated. I liked the first night enough to stay for two nights. The room and restroom were spacious, and the shower had great pressure.

I got my period while I was there, and they tried to make me pay for the sheets. Cleaning and paying for the sheets is the motel’s job, not mine. I won’t waste money here again.

Oh my, this room was gross. The door around the handles and the light switch looked like they’d gone years without cleaning. There was food all over the microwave, dirt caked on the baseboards, and hair in the sheets, both long blond and short black. The loveseat sofa was nice, though. It was easy to sanitize first, and we enjoyed it for adult pleasures. The high back gave good support, and it was low to the floor for good positions. The door was stuck, then broke the second time we tried it. It took about 15 minutes to get it to turn. We tried knocking to reach the owners but got no answer. Eventually we got inside and the bed was good enough to sleep in after the nightmare of an inn.
