I paid extra for a King-Bed Suite and ended up in a two-queen room after a key problem and a claim that the hotel was "completely booked." The room change was frustrating, but management's response made the experience worse. I emailed several times and got neither an apology nor compensation or a refund. Instead, manager Jessica Quintana called it an "upgrade," pointing to the mountain view and extra beds. Those things don't make up for the particular room I chose and paid more for. At check-in, my key wouldn't work. Then the front desk said the hotel was full, effectively cancelling my reservation and moving me out of the suite I'd booked. Technical issues can happen, but management never acknowledged a mistake. Their explanations leaned on vague internal pricing rules, and they flatly refused any reimbursement. What bothered me was the lack of respect for my clearly stated preferences and for the expectation that a paid reservation would be honored. If you expect to get the room you reserved, avoid this hotel. You might be put somewhere else and then told to be grateful for their "mistake." Save yourself the hassle and stay elsewhere.

For my weekend visit, I got a great deal and would come back. The hotel is near the airport and a main road with restaurants and shops. My room had two queen beds and was very clean, with a wonderful kitchenette. Rooms on the third and fourth floors have mountain views. The staff were very kind, and being at an Ihg hotel was a plus. There's a bar by the lobby, continental breakfast, and snacks for sale. Hot coffee, tea, and water were always available in the lobby. Thanks for a great stay.

The room was the best part of my stay at Atwell Suites. It was large, nicely equipped, and had plenty of room to unpack and relax. The windows blocked out all the light, which made it easy to get real rest. The hotel also has a shared meeting area, a useful amenity that many places seem to miss. You can meet informally with colleagues there or work somewhere quiet and professional instead of staying in your room. I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and comfortable the hotel felt from the moment I arrived. It offers a high-quality stay that balances comfort and function, and I'd recommend it.

The hotel is a good value for the price and location. It's a newer build, with easy parking and access, and there's some walkable food and shopping nearby, including fast food, a convenience store, a brewery, and restaurants. The airport shuttle and Wi-Fi are included, along with a pretty substantial complimentary breakfast: fresh build-your-own breakfast tacos, cereal, yogurt, granola, juices, and more. Rooms feel open and airy, and the bathroom is nice. My only complaint is that the exterior doors didn't work, so if your room is at the opposite end from the lobby and main doors, you can't park near the closest entrance. A pretty minor hassle.
