Best Western Denver East

Dollar for dollar, this is an incredible value. I’ve stayed a couple more times since my first review, and it gets better each visit. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with big flat-screen TVs. The front desk team is the best I’ve encountered, and I travel a lot. They always greet me warmly. My first room was really nice and had a kitchenette. The value was excellent, and the front desk staff were EXCELLENT!

I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed. The hotel was spotless and beautiful, and the staff were kind and helpful. Thoughtful extras included great in-room coffee, lovely toiletries, ginger-lemon ice water, and a 24-hour cafe with wine and snacks. Our two-queen suite had a balcony and high ceilings, and I took a bunch of photos as soon as I walked in. Even the bathroom was so pretty it made me want to redo mine at home. The lobby was stunning too. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. If I’m in Denver again, I’ll head straight back. Thanks for making our last vacation night one to remember!

The hotel itself was nice, the service top-notch, and the rooms clean. I felt safe inside. In the back parking lot, though, I was alone in my car getting my things ready when I saw a homeless man try to get into the dumpster, then come behind my vehicle and try to open the back door. He noticed me sitting inside, moved on through the lot, and checked whether other cars were locked. There are also lots of homeless people under the bridge less than 200 yards away, and they’re not nice to deal with. I didn’t feel as safe in the parking lot.

We paid $230 for one night, and this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Calling it “Premier” is a joke. The room felt unsanitary and unsafe, and the place seemed neglected and disgusting. I have photos to back up every claim. The floor was full of trip hazards: a loose extension cord ran across the room, and the carpet was coming apart at the seams. We found stains on the furniture, mold in the bathroom, and a sticker from someone else’s dessert stuck to the wall. When we complained, the hotel offered a handful of rewards points. They failed to give us a clean, safe room and then failed to make things right. Save your money and protect your health by staying elsewhere. This location is a stain on the Best Western brand.
