Joe, the manager, was the one bright spot. He was incredibly accommodating and tried hard to make things work, but the stay still turned out badly. I took a chance because this was the cheapest hotel around, and ended up booking somewhere else 40 minutes away for only a little more. The rooms were dirty and had broken locks, and the entry codes were easy to guess. The single guest bathroom was awful, with toilet paper stuffed in the toilet, yellow-brown water, and hardened diarrhea visible at the top. Maybe the place could become a good stop if money went into fixing it, but right now it feels like one man, Joe, is trying to repair everything on a shoestring. The owners should be ashamed to take people's hard-earned money for a stay in this condition. Joe's the unsung hero here.

Chad made this stay stand out. He was warm, professional, and kind from the moment we checked in through checkout, and clearly cared about making sure we felt welcome and looked after. The property was clean and stylish, in a great spot for a relaxing getaway in Palm Springs. I'd happily recommend the hotel, and Chad deserves a special mention.

The manager really changed how I felt about the place. The location didn't make a great first impression, and the rooms weren't in the best shape, but he made our group feel welcome and we had a blast. The room price was very reasonable, which sealed it for us. It was windy on the day we went, yet the barbecue area felt nice and sheltered by the hotel and wall. I'd come back.

Starla and the new management are turning things around. Before, I wouldn't have given this place a second look, but it's coming together now. The price is good for what you get, and the atmosphere has heart. There's a lot of potential here, and I'm looking forward to seeing what's done with it. I'd recommend it.
