Harris House by Heirloom Boutique Collection

The kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were lovely, and the location was just right. We had a wonderful time overall. It was cold when we arrived, though, and the house took a while to warm up. That makes sense for a historic home with very tall ceilings, especially during our winter visit. An entry rug would help keep the cold winter air out of the main living areas.

Parking was easy, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. The apartment was clean, updated, and nicely decorated with modern amenities. It's also close to lots of city activities and restaurants. We'll be back!

The Harris House itself is beautiful, and the apartment was modern, very clean, and well appointed without extra clutter, which I appreciated. The location was convenient for downtown, a hospital, a good grocery store, a hardware store, a pharmacy, and a nearby bus stop. But the listing said the home was right on Lake Superior, and it isn't. It's on a bluff about two blocks from the water, with a lake view. The map gave a more accurate idea, but the description at the top was wrong, and we were very disappointed. The description needs updating so future travelers aren't let down.

I slept really well in the super comfortable bed, and the rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable. I noticed two corners of the living room rug had curled up, so I watched out for them to avoid tripping. The dryer vent also looked disconnected from either the wall or the dryer. I didn't need to use the washer or dryer, so that was fine. I'd stay here again when traveling to Duluth.
