The house is tucked into a quiet, secluded neighborhood, yet it’s still close to everything Duluth has to offer. We spent the weekend in the Creekside room, which was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The property itself has loads of charm and character and looks gorgeous. We could sometimes hear footsteps in the hall or from upstairs, but it never became a problem. That seems like part of staying in a historic house.

Great mansion! I would have rated it higher, but several room doors were malfunctioning and beeped through the night. We told two different employees on site about the faulty locks, but no one stopped the beeping.

We booked a night away and were pleasantly surprised by the GG Barnum. It’s an easy place to get to, nicely equipped, and a historic building that’s been updated with a lot of charm. You get the feel of stepping back in time, with a lovely room and a comfortable bed.

The Creekside Suite at the Barnum Mansion was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. There were complimentary breakfast items, plus coffee and tea in the morning. We had a small water issue, but they responded quickly and fixed it. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do, with quick access to I35. We’d definitely stay again or try one of their other properties.

The room and shared areas were really clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The beautifully restored historic mansion was decorated for Christmas while we were there. We’ll definitely go back.
