8/10
The rooms and service were top notch, and the whole team, including the receptionists, were polite and courteous. I appreciated that they recognized my status, and the refurbished M Club lounge, rooms, and fitness center had what I needed. The hotel is close to both the airport and the customer office we were visiting, so it was a logical choice. There's a concierge lounge, complimentary full buffet breakfast in the restaurant, and evening snacks, though I think the vegetarian choices could be better. One drawback: unlike some other airport hotels, this one doesn't provide an airport shuttle. I'll definitely return.

The bartender and lead chef were really friendly and fun to talk with when I went down to the bar. They even had pickle backs, which earns brownie points! The room was clean and nice, the front desk staff were friendly, and the stay was very comfortable. Definitely coming back.

It's a beautiful, quiet hotel, and the beds are comfortable. The staff were friendly, too. If you're working at RTP, it's only a short drive away, and I never heard noise or anyone being loud. Breakfast was great. The only small drawback is that there's no ice machine. You have to pick up a small bag from the vending area on the first floor, but it's really not a big deal.

The parking area was spacious, which made getting here easy and stress-free. Check-in was quick, and I was greeted with genuine kindness, which I really appreciated. I usually prefer Residence Inn, but I'm already happy with the amenities at Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park. As a Gold member, I'm looking forward to the complimentary breakfast. I've just arrived, so it's a good start, and I'm excited for the stay.

The rooms are nice, and the people are nice, too. But I used to stay here often, and on my last visit I noticed they had installed some Flock AI surveillance cameras. I wanted to alert other travelers who care about privacy so they can make an informed choice before financially supporting this dragnet surveillance company. When I asked the front desk about the cameras, the person there didn't know what the devices or the company behind them could mean.
