I've been living here for six months, and it feels like home. The location works really well, parking is plentiful, and the staff and workers are cooperative. The room is a good size, the bed is comfortable, and there's a nice cooktop. Customer service is available around the clock, as are tea and coffee. It suits short or long stays.

I paid cash, about $2,100, for a month for a friend recovering from a stroke. After finding a good apartment and returning two weeks later to ask for a refund, I was told I'd only paid $1,600. That isn't true. Don't pay cash here. Protect yourself.

We left around 11 at night because we didn't feel safe staying. Our first-floor window wouldn't lock and could be slid open from outside. Truckers were sleeping in the parking lot. That alone didn't bother me, but when we used our cards to enter through the side doors, some followed us inside and wouldn't let us shut the door behind them. Those private entrances were being used by people who didn't stay there, and Linda's behavior frightened us. Before we paid, no one told us that all the elevators were out or that the AC wasn't working. The hallway was about 60 degrees, while our room was around 95. The pool was closed and there were no food options. The hotel was dirty, the shower didn't look clean, and the sticky floor looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. The online photos didn't match the place we found. We'd paid $90 online, then were told that was just for requesting the reservation and charged $70 a night. Back in the room, we were charged almost $500, including $200 in incidentals. We called the Doubletree late that night, and they had space for us and handled the last-minute switch well. I'd never stay here again or recommend it.

Suburban Suites was clean and well kept, and seemed set up for both short and longer stays. The room was spacious, with a kitchenette for making meals, and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet enough to relax, and parking was easy. Staff were welcoming and professional. Check-in was quick, and they were happy to answer questions, which made me feel looked after. The location was convenient for attractions, restaurants, and shopping, while still feeling peaceful. It was affordable and comfortable, with good service. I'd happily stay again.
