I’ve been here for some time, and I’m impressed by how responsive the staff are. When I first arrived, my room was clean, and I haven’t seen any sign of bugs. Management is friendly and quick to address any concerns I’ve had. It’s not such a bad place to stay.

I arrived three days ago because of an emergency, and the place has been disgusting. I’ve seen bedbugs, roaches, mold, and police around. The reviews don’t lie. It’s like the Atlantic City rescue mission, and the female owner is massively rude. Don’t come unless you have no choice. I’m giving one star only to warn people to save their money, and I’ll need to bedbug-bomb my room when I leave so I don’t take any critters with me. God help this place.

We ended up here because of an unfortunate situation. After only two weeks, we were covered head to toe in bedbug bites. The bedbug and roach infestation is so severe that the state board of health and inspections needs to be called. Roaches live inside the fridge, microwave, and TV. The carpet is always damp and very dirty, and the shower pressure is so low it’s hard to shampoo your hair. The owner has no staff and does no cleaning or other service. She takes advantage of a very kind person who lives there. Complaining gets you nowhere. Police are called several times a day. I had to throw out most of my clothes and my own bedding because the pests can leave with you. Ocean County Social Services dumps people here and leaves them for dead, while Atlantic county refuses to help if you’re from ocean county. This place needs to be shut down. You’ll leave sick, and you may need an exterminator for your vehicle after staying here. I did.

I wrote a review last week, and since then I’ve seen roaches, mice, bedbugs, and mold in these filthy rooms. There are crack heads everywhere, and families neglect their children. I called DEA today about needles and crack everywhere, and I’m also contacting DYFS about the abuse and neglect of the kids there. Management was rude and nasty, as was the person at the desk. The cleaning lady doesn’t clean and steals from people. Sheets and towels aren’t washed, the rug is never cleaned, and the mouse trap on the stove doesn’t work. My baby’s things were stolen, including food, paint, clothes, and air pods. The woman at the desk discriminates, animals are neglected, and the heat barely worked. Roaches crawl on the beds and bite people. I called the health inspector twice. I’d stay as far away from this motel as possible.
