The night desk attendant made our visit enjoyable and gave us a warm welcome. It’s nice to feel that your stay is appreciated. The hotel and rooms are well kept, and he deserves a raise, in my opinion. Thanks for giving our trip a great start!

Jake pointed out hotel amenities I might have missed, and the staff were efficient, professional, and friendly. The rooms were clean and stocked with the expected things like coffee, tea, and soap. The location is close to freeway access, though the road layout isn’t very convenient. That’s not the motel’s fault, but it’s something to keep in mind.

The staff are good, and the hotel is clean and comfortable, but repeated small problems took away from my stays. I’ve been in three rooms and every AC unit rattled loudly whenever it kicked on, making it hard to relax or sleep. Breakfast also got boring, with the same three kinds of egg omelets every day, and the potatoes were always soggy. The dryer didn’t dry properly. I told the maintenance guy, who insisted it worked fine, but after three cycles I gave up and air-dried my clothes in the room. Everything else was good. A few fixes could make this a much better stay.

The lobby TV was showing very disturbing news at high volume during breakfast this morning, September 12. I found that completely inappropriate for people trying to eat, relax, and start their day. Anyone who wants news can follow it on their phone, and every room already has a TV. Management should reconsider both the programming and volume in the breakfast area. If the TV has to be on, please keep it quiet and choose something neutral and calming, without inflammatory content. That basic consideration makes a real difference to guests’ comfort.
