We enjoy staying with Hilton as Hilton Honors members, and this hotel was a great fit. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I especially liked the hot tub. It's close enough to Acadia NP for getting around, while avoiding the crowds in Bar Harbor. My one suggestion would be to add some couches in the lobby, since the rooms aren't suites.

Breakfast was a highlight on my business trip. There were different choices from one day to the next, and the staff kept everything well stocked and paid attention to things. My room was well cared for, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel felt modern and very clean. I had a good stay and would come back if I'm in the area again.

The lobby was especially welcoming in the evenings, with fall decorations, decorative lights, and candles on the tables. It made a nice place to gather with family and friends. The breakfast was the best I've had at a Hampton Inn too, with more food and drink choices than I've seen elsewhere. I liked the blueberry waffles, and the scrambled eggs came with add-ons like cheese and salsa. That's helpful for me because I'm allergic to bell peppers, and many hotels serve eggs already loaded with them. I've stayed at plenty of Hampton Inns around the U.S. as a Hilton Honors Club member, and this one stood out for its steady hospitality and the little details that made us feel comfortable. From the friendly smiles at check-in to breakfast service and having our trash cleared, the care was consistent. We'll recommend it to family when we come back in June for our daughter's college graduation.

I stayed at the Ellsworth location this weekend, and the service was great throughout, from the second-floor housekeeping and kitchen staff to the front desk.
