The hotel felt clean and fresh, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows were tiny. Breakfast was available if you wanted it. The central location put everything close by, but walking wasn't pleasant: busy roads and missing sidewalks made it hard to get around on foot. Housekeeping came on both days, but left a coffee cup in the room one day and a cleaning rag the next.

Check-in at the desk was quick, and the rooms were nice and very clean. The pool was decent, though I missed having a hot tub on the cooler nights. There are restaurants nearby and a mall in the same area. You can walk there, but it's not set up for pedestrians, with no sidewalks or trails, so you end up crossing parking lots.

I arrived at 9 p.m. on February 18th, after a long day of travel and a difficult family situation, and found out the hotel had marked me as a no-show and oversold my room. I'd called ahead because of a death in the family and was told changing the date would be fine. I wasn't asking for a refund, just to check in later. Staff kept asking who I'd spoken to on Monday, as if I were making it up. This was entirely the hotel's mistake. The response was cold. There was no apology, empathy, or real effort to find a solution, and one employee even smirked while I was explaining what happened. I had paid for the room and expected to be able to come and go during my stay. They could have handled this with care and professionalism, but instead I felt dismissed. The lobby was visibly dirty while I waited, too. This was horrible policy and a very upsetting experience. It's seriously put me off Hyatt.

We spent two nights here, and Kacie at the front desk made us feel at home. The rooms were newly updated and really comfortable. I'd definitely come back.
