The themed room was the coolest part of my trip, with its own hot tub and a nostalgic, unusual feel. If you want a cookie-cutter room, this probably isn't your place. There's also a heated pool and a second hot tub in a central area, both accessible daily from 16:00-23:00. The location is ideal, right beside the Cincinnati I-71 N/S ramp, with some good local food options just minutes away. I'd pick this over Drury.
We were so disgusted that we didn't sleep there, and they only offered 50% of our money back. The room was filthy, with patched holes all over and skin particles and dirt blasting out of the jacuzzi jets. The bed was held together with zip ties and looked like something in a trap house. The kids' pool had no water, and we couldn't use the pool tables. The female staff member seemed extremely high. They also claimed to have dining, but there wasn't any. It was horrible.
The pool was cold, which was the main reason we came, and missing tiles bothered the kids' feet. The hot tub was hot, but its jets barely worked. The arcade was badly run down and ate up a lot of the kids' money. I was embarrassed, especially since this was for my daughter's birthday. The room was musty, stained, and cringe inducing. I expected it to be outdated, but not this neglected. The walls were dirty, and the bathroom door dragged on the floor. In the other building, mattresses were lined up along the wall.
I've only stayed in a few themed rooms, and they're great, but these feel overpriced for their quality and cleanliness. The treehouse room was awesome, while the canyon room was pretty gross, with several balled up bloody Kleenex scattered around. A lot of things are falling apart and the room needs remodeling. Still, the place is kitschy and fun.
That place felt way too run-down for what it cost. The rooms were musty and dirty, none of the outlets worked, and the beds felt worn out. I also felt like someone could see into our room if they wanted to. The pool had so much chlorine that my son broke out, which has never happened to him before when swimming. The jacuzzi area looked nice, but it was small. Honestly, if we hadn’t spent $200, we would’ve left after swimming. I was shocked by the condition for the price, and after getting home I felt I needed to sanitize my belongings. It wasn’t worth the money, and I won’t be back.
