Maggie was the real gem here. She was welcoming and cool, and gave us great recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable. The property is close to the beach and has a few pools, including a salt water pool. We had a wonderful stay and would come back next time we're in town. Thanks, Maggie!

The staff were exceptionally caring and accommodating when they were around, though a late night check-in meant talking through the Ring doorbell, which could be a bit of a hassle. There’s a nice outdoor seating area, but the property needs better maintenance. This place and the adjacent North Beach Hotel feel cut from the same cloth. Our room was sparse, clean, and all white, with a few dishware items, including two branded plastic cups. The bed was comfortable, bathwater was piping hot during a rare Florida chill, bath necessities and spares were stocked, and there was plenty of free parking. Calling ‘Aqua’ a boutique hotel is a stretch. The term feels loosely applied to a modified motel. Plastic flowers in the outdoor pots and beds make it feel tacky. In the shadows of Conrad and Four Seasons, they could stick to their lane and offer beach proximity and basic comfort instead of pretending to offer more and not delivering.

Maggie at the front desk was the best, so fun and friendly, and she took such good care of us. She has big Momma energy and deserves a damn raise. I'd come back just to hang with her. Could not love her more. The stay was a great choice for us. It was very clean, with friendly staff, nice pools, and restaurants and other things in the village all included. Just one block from the beach and all the fun on the strip, for a reasonable price.

The only downside was the signage. We had a hard time finding the office. Otherwise, it’s a very nice older hotel with a homey feel, two pools, and lots of outdoor seating. At least one pool was heated, and it’s about a block from the beach. I’d stay again.

DEBORAH checked us in at aqua hotel and held our luggage since we arrived early. She texted when the room was ready, was super friendly, and somehow knew my name without asking. 😁 She also recommended a great Italian restaurant a block away. The room was really nice and very clean. Loved having no rugs. The pools and hot tubs were clean and very nice too. We totally enjoyed our short stay and plan to come back for longer.
