Quality Inn & Suites Franklin

The location felt secure, and the prices were affordable. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and the whole place was spotless with a fresh, welcoming feel. Staff greeted me warmly and were helpful throughout, which made me feel valued. You get good hospitality without a high price. I loved my stay at the Quality Inn in Franklin, TN, and can’t wait to come back. If you want a cozy budget option in Franklin, TN, I'd recommend it. I'm sure you'll feel the same.

Breakfast was good, thankfully, but the night was awful. There was noise all night and I got no sleep. I didn't feel safe, and the moment we opened the door to Room 149, it smelled terrible, like dog urine and feces. They allow animals here, but the room should have been aired out or cleaned before renting it. It looked clean at first, but closer inspection showed otherwise. The coffee pot was dirty and leaked all over the counter. I should have gone straight back to the desk and asked for another room. Instead, I slept on and off in my dirty clothes and didn't even shower.

Management was kind about moving us to another room when I asked to check one for cleanliness, and they offered a full refund for the second night if we wanted to leave. We stayed because finding another room for just one more night would have taken too long. The beds weren't very comfortable, but they were manageable for two nights. I wouldn't stay again. In our first room, the window was filthy, there were drain fleas in the bathroom sink, and I found stains on the sheets, bedding, and mattress pad. I couldn't tell if any of the marks were bed bug stains, but it was still nasty and freaked me out. It was very late, so we couldn't easily look for somewhere else.

7/4/25 room 245 The room was a pleasant surprise. We were told it had new carpet and furniture, and they weren't kidding. Everything felt new, looked nice, and was comfortable. It smelled great, without the chemical odor you get in so many rooms. We checked the bed carefully before bringing our things in, and it had been cleaned properly. Even with temperatures in the 90s, the room stayed comfortable. We adjusted the thermostat and ended up freezing ourselves. Breakfast was free, had plenty of choices, and tasted good. We tried nearly everything. We were happy with every part of the stay. We picked this motel despite mixed reviews because we're Choice members, travel all over the country for work, and needed a pet-friendly place for our dogs. Some things show the building's age, but nothing inside the room did. The lobby was clean and looked very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They actually chatted with us, unlike places where checking in makes you feel like a bother. This isn't a five-star resort, so we judged it for what it is and what it offers at the price. Some of the past reviews might put you off, but we think people could miss out on a stay they'd be very happy with.
