Motel 6 Garden Grove

The room needs better upkeep and should have more of the amenities listed online. Our pool was filled with dirt.

The rooms are mostly nice, but the people running and cleaning the place aren’t. Staff are rude, impatient, and don’t seem to care.

I would’ve asked for my money back, even though they waived my deposit. The rooms had roaches, and there was makeup on the towels. When I asked for more towels, the woman working there acted annoyed, like my request was a problem. We stayed two nights and got locked out on the second, though a young man helped sort it out. Asking for another roll of toilet paper was an issue too. The door wasn’t fitted properly on its hinges, and although they advertised a pool, it had been closed off with concrete. They offered coffee, but it was watered down.

The pool was completely filled with sand, and the man at the front desk said he had no control over what Airbnb advertises. They’re renting rooms through Airbnb, but the rooms don’t have the amenities they claim and aren’t as advertised. Beware.
