Cambria Suites

The first time getting here is a little confusing. GPS guided me through a maze of hotels, driveways, and parking lots right to the front door. Seeing the building doesn't mean you can get to it easily. Once there, the staff were helpful and friendly, the lobby felt fresh and clean, and breakfast was great. Our room was spacious and decent overall, though it could use some paint and a bit of care. Still a good experience.

We brought our dog and stayed on a non-game night, so it wasn't crowded. Room 133 was next to the courtyard and just one door from an exit, which was convenient. It's a dog-friendly hotel, and our dog, like us, wasn't bothered by much noise. We heard the heater come on a few times and the mini fridge hum. The bed was comfortable, the hair dryers were nice, and the room also had a microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast was included and worth having, with waffles, bagels, English muffins, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and more. The shower had firm pressure without being too strong, and the toilet flushed well, though the sink was a little awkward. The pool and hot tub were out of service during our visit. Lambeau Field is very close, so we walked our dog to the stadium. We couldn't go inside, but it was still fun to be there with him. We'd stay again.

The breakfast was good, but it didn't make up for what we paid for the room. There were several room problems reported to management, and I hope they've been fixed. The bathroom tile was cracked and shifted underfoot. The bedspreads had stains, there was an old tissue in a corner on the floor, and the carpet was stained in the room and along the hallway wall. The pool and hot tub looked as if staff hadn't attended to them in quite a while, and a hair tie sat in the pool all weekend.

When the weather turned bad, the front desk staff were amazing in helping us find a place to stay. They also arranged a nice upgrade when I asked because of my status. The pool was clean and pleasant, and having a hot tub was a bonus. Restaurants nearby made it easy to get takeout.
