We found a bed bug about an hour after arriving on 12/25. Staff came in, found more, and told us we had to leave. They arranged a hotel across the street and comped our $100 room, but we missed half our concert because of the move. Once they gave us the free room, they washed their hands of us. I saved the bug after killing it. The hotel said they’d show it to exterminators, but neither the owner nor the exterminators ever got back to me about identifying it. When I asked whether they’d cover extermination costs if the bugs got into our home, they denied everything. The owner said there hadn’t been bed bugs in six years since she bought the place, but an employee had told me the night before that “they get them from time to time.” A cheap room isn’t worth potentially thousands in extermination costs. Avoid this hotel.

The rooms were clean and had been remodeled since I stayed a few years ago, and the housekeeping staff were great. The staff overall were wonderful, friendly, and very helpful, and deserve recognition. A couple of fixtures were a problem: the shower got hot but had weak pressure, and the very low toilet seat was barely attached.

The location was the best part of the stay. The room had a dated, very strange layout, and staff were friendly when they were around.

The hot tub was out of order, the rooms felt outdated, and the TV kept reprogramming itself. They also kept our $150 deposit for no reason.

Being able to walk to Lambeau Field made this a great value for the location. The room was comfortable and clean, and there are three pubs an easy walk away. I didn’t use the indoor pool or workout room, but both looked nice. The continental breakfast was adequate, though not great: coffee, tea, juice, instant oatmeal, cold cereal, apples, yogurt, waffles, toast, packaged mini-muffins, and Twinkies.
