We left because the room felt unsafe and wasn't clean. The sheets had hair and mascara stains, the room smelled like marijuana, and there was a Corona cap on the floor. While we waited for our Uber to dinner, people driving past and people hanging around the parking lot verbally harassed us. My friend was followed in the lot when she went back inside. The front desk attendant had been very nice at check-in, and later offered to move us to another room, but we felt too unsafe and chose to check out. He understood and said he could refund us, though since I booked through Expedia he said I would need to contact them. Four days later, Expedia is declining the refund. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The building was being worked on, and I think they were installing an elevator. The exposed construction looked bad and seemed hazardous. I only needed somewhere to sleep for the night, though, and it was close to plenty of restaurants and not far from Amtrak.

Maya made sure I had a quiet room so I could work on my college homework, and Danielle later gave me a late checkout when I accidentally overslept after a long night of writing. Both were kind and helpful, and the service really stood out. The hotel is about what you'd expect for the price, nothing fancy. The towels could be better, and the area felt sketchy, though you can tell they're trying to renovate the place. Still, the customer service made my short stay much smoother.

Rojoun checked us in and was so sweet. He carried our things to the room, brought us what we needed, and was just great. Other people were talking about how sweet he is, too. We had some room problems, with an unsecured toilet seat, a clogged tub, and ants that we think came from something dropped behind the bed. They came right away and fixed everything. The service was amazing, and our stay wasn't bad.
