SpringHill Suites by Marriott Greensboro Airport

The gym and pool are my favorite amenities here, and the pool water was just right, not too cold. The staff and housekeeping are wonderful. Josh, Pamela N. and Rosa were especially welcoming, gave excellent service, and were always ready to help and sort things out quickly. Our TV was missing some channels, so I mentioned it to the front desk. They said they’d move us if unplugging the set didn’t solve it. Unplugging it fixed the issue within minutes. A great hotel with a great team.

We’ve stayed here several times lately, and each visit has gone very well. The breakfast is good, and every employee we’ve dealt with has been helpful and kind. We’ll stay again and recommend the hotel to friends.

The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable, but the shuttle issue made us regret choosing this hotel. We booked it over other places in the area because we believed it offered a free airport shuttle. On Friday night, when we arrived before a Saturday morning flight, we learned it only runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Nobody offered meaningful help beyond saying we could book an Uber. Staff weren’t helpful about accommodating us or offering a refund, even though the shuttle was the only reason I chose this hotel among the many nearby options. I wish I’d booked somewhere else. Choose another hotel if you need an airport shuttle.

We came up from NY for a wedding over Labor Day weekend. The front desk attendant was lovely, and even though our flight was late, we were welcomed with a smile after 11 pm and checked in quickly. Our room was spacious and clean, with a soft, comfortable queen bed, couch, desk, microwave, and mini fridge. The bathroom was huge, and I loved the shower. Housekeeping was the problem. Our room was skipped twice, so I asked the housekeeper in the hall for clean towels and sheets. We were gone for an hour, then came back to used towels left on the floor by the door, a sloppy bed, clean towels on the sink, and an unwiped eating table. We first thought she’d stepped away and would finish, but after another hour it was clear she wasn’t coming back. We went downstairs to complain. We’d paid good money and expected the service that came with it. They listened and had the room properly serviced, and gave us complimentary snacks in the sitting lounge while we waited. Great hotel otherwise, and we’ll book again when we’re in Greensboro.
