It’s an easy spot for getting around on foot, and our room was clean, standard, and nice. The staff were the best part. Shamar from valet greeted us before we were even out of the car. At check-in, Mrs. Tammy was so sweet, I just love her. You’ve got the right person at the desk. The next morning Mrs Betty saw me carrying breakfast for my husband and me and offered a tray. Everyone smiled and seemed to enjoy their work. We’re already figuring out when to return. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Henry at the reception desk made check-in easy after a long day on the road. He was warm, friendly, and informative, and explained each step clearly. The valet team was welcoming and efficient too. I didn’t catch the valet’s name, but his kindness helped me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. I also appreciated the follow-up text welcoming me as a Silver member and offering help if I needed anything. Those small touches stayed with me. The team showed real Southern hospitality, and I’m grateful. 10/10 service at Hampton Inn & Suites Greenville-Downtown-RiverPlace. Highly recommend this location!

For the price, this was one of my nicest stays. The downtown location is handy, right by the river park, and the room was clean and well appointed. Staff were great too. My only gripe was that the shower never got hot, though the sink water was plenty hot. Maybe it was a faucet problem. Otherwise, a great property.

Breakfast was really, really great, and downtown bars, restaurants, and shops were all within walking distance. The hotel was super clean, the room spacious and comfortable, and the staff amazingly friendly. Hands down, the best hotel stay we’ve had. Highly recommend!

Greenville is a lovely place, and our stay at the Hampton was great. The location was amazing, with a view of the falls and places within walking distance. Check-in service was great, and the rooms were roomy, clean, and well attended, just what I expected from the Hampton brand. I’ll return.
