The Skylight

Lagusta was kind and helpful, even with our last-minute booking. We stayed at the Skylight for a night while traveling for work and absolutely loved it. It’s a beautiful historic building, and our room was comfortable and clean, with hot showers. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying in Greenville.

I loved staying here, and the grand tour of this 124 year old property from Calvin, the owner, made me appreciate the historic place even more. I’d asked people I know in the area about places to stay, and two contacts who’d done remodeling work at the hotel said I’d be satisfied if I chose it. They were right. The rooms were just right and very clean, and someone always greeted me and checked whether I needed anything. Since it’s a small property, the owners can give the place and guests their full attention and respect. I’ll stay here whenever I’m home and rooms are available. I think it should be designated or registered as a Mississippi Historical Landmark.

The staff were professional and helpful, and the comfortable rooms brought historic charm together with modern amenities. I had a delightful stay at Skylight Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat and outstanding service in Greenville, Ms.

My fiance' and I loved our weekend here and had no complaints. The historic building has an amazing atmosphere, and the dim lighting, colors, and brick all fit together so well. The woman at the front desk was so hospitable and made sure our needs were met. The service was exceptional, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel every time I come here.
