Ways Motel

We came back to Ways Motel because we liked our first stay, and had another great visit. The owner is friendly and checks that we have what we need. He also chats with people sitting outside. It’s nice seeing upgrades happening regularly. The motel sits at the quieter end of the boardwalk, while still being convenient, and driving in and out is easy. We’ll keep coming back.

The owners were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I’d worried that being at one end of the main drag would be inconvenient, but the location turned out well. The beach was a five-minute walk, and that stretch wasn’t crowded, even on a Saturday in July. Shops and restaurants were easy to reach, and it was a short walk back from the nightlife. Our room was clean, the shower had good pressure, and the price was good. The bathroom was tiny. We didn’t use the pool, so I can’t speak to it.

We had a very comfortable bed, and the room was fairly clean. The location was perfect, and the woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. My one complaint is the pool. It wasn’t heated, was quite shallow, around 3-4 feet deep, and didn’t look especially new or nice.

My friend Bella and I were the first guests of the 2025 season at Ways Motel on April 11th. AK, the owner and manager, made the stay feel personal from the start. He walked us to our room, checked that everything worked, and stayed attentive throughout. He even shared our story on the motel’s Instagram and invited us to write the caption with him, which was a thoughtful and fun way to make us feel part of the Ways family. The room was clean and cozy, with what we needed, and it was a short walk from the concert venue we’d come to see. We’re grateful for the experience and already looking forward to visiting again.
