For this price, you should know what to expect. My bed was very comfortable, the climate control worked fine, and I found no mold or bugs in my room. Management did an okay job clearing snow from the parking lot. I also liked the little kitchen. But my room didn’t have the desk shown in the booking photo, which made it a real pain to work or eat. I could hear every word through the connecting door, and smoke from the room across the hall drifted into the corridor. My teammates’ rooms were nicer, even though we were supposed to have the same category. There’s no breakfast, the sundries shop is tiny, and water bottles cost $3. The laundry room is free, and housekeeping comes once a week.

The property was clean, quiet, and convenient, but Amanda at the front desk is what made this stay memorable. She welcomed me warmly, got me checked in quickly, and made sure I had what I needed. Whenever I had a question or request, she was attentive, patient, professional, and quick to help. Her guidance was useful, and her care felt personal rather than scripted. My team and I had a truly excellent experience thanks in large part to her. Candlewood Suites is lucky to have Amanda, and I’ll choose this location again because of her kindness and support. Highly recommend.

Ken made check-in easy and helped us pick out what we needed from the lending locker. We borrowed board games, extra pans, and even a small appliance, which was such a useful bonus. The kitchen setup was great, too. This hotel is perfect for a longer stay, and the service was excellent.

The staff were friendly, but the cleaning could have been better. There was actual mold in the shower. My daughter’s pink palm puff pajama outfit, a birthday present she’d just received, was stolen, which was very upsetting. If you use the laundry here, keep an eye on your things or don’t leave anything valuable unattended, whether in the laundry area or your room.

We waited in the lobby for 30 minutes before anyone showed up, and several other people were waiting too. Things got worse at check-in. I booked two connecting rooms in the same transaction so we could stay near the children. It looked like the request was approved, but one room was 21X and the other 30X. They acted like they didn’t know what I meant and offered nothing to fix it. I’m disappointed I didn’t read the reviews first. As others have said, be warned. I’ll keep telling people about this disaster so they avoid it.
