The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.

The price was affordable and the room was clean. Breakfast was okay, and there wasn't much foot traffic. There's a pool and a small exercise area, though I didn't use either. I'll stay here again when I come back in a few months.

I was kicked out one afternoon while I was continuing to write about social justice issues. I had also been drinking beer in my room, and I think the owner was trying to set me up for a DUI by choosing that moment to make me leave. Since I was drinking in my room, how would he even know? Another guest, who happened to be Black, argued with the owner and demanded a refund and that the police be called, saying he'd been overcharged. I was overcharged too, though I'm white and a single woman. The owner should stop harassing minorities, and this place should be shut down. I believe the hotel records women in their rooms. Staff entered my room on occasions when I was writing, and it felt opportunistic. The no-smoking policy also seems at odds with how strongly the place reeks of smoke. There's never anyone at the front desk. The owner has very large computer screens and a lot of money. Where did he get it, and how can he afford those clothes while owning a hotel that looks like this? The windows don't open, and the doors don't lock well. Be warned, don't stay here!
