Hampton Inn & Suites Herndon-Reston

My family came from all over for my mother’s funeral, and the staff were compassionate about what we were going through. Sulma especially did so much to help us, from letting us gather in the lobby to assisting with laundry and our need to stay longer. She was friendly and went out of her way for us at every turn. Everyone on staff was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

The shuttle made it easy to get to places like Lake Anne Village, and the main floor has a lovely modern area to hang out in. We arrived a little early and the staff were very accommodating. Our room was clean, roomy, and laid out well. Breakfast was satisfying, with healthy choices along with the classic favorites. The gym is small, but perfect for what I needed, and the equipment was new. A lovely, top-notch three star hotel. Highly recommend.

The breakfast room staff were kind and attentive, and there was plenty to choose from: hot meats, eggs and biscuits, a wide range of breads, a make-your-own waffle station, and fresh fruit. The renovated rooms were clean and spacious. The gym is small but adequate, with weights up to 75 lbs, treadmills, and a Peloton bike. The pool was clean and open from 9 am -10 pm. Front desk service was professional, though not especially friendly. Overall, a great experience.

What stood out most was the tremendous customer service. The staff were professional and friendly, and whenever we asked for something, they made us feel welcome and glad to help. The free shuttle within 3 miles was very useful for shopping and dinner, so my daughter and I didn’t need Uber or a rental car. They responded quickly, picked us up smiling, and were friendly every time. The facilities were clean and in very good shape. Breakfast was hot, tasty, and had a nice variety. We travel a lot, and this is the best customer service we’ve had anywhere. I’d highly recommend staying here.
