Spark By Hilton Sterling Dulles Airport

This is a very basic hotel, though a little better than the Econo Suites by Wyndham. The breakfast was bland and unappealing. Rooms should at least have basic paper products and cups for guests.

Jamie and another gentleman made us feel welcome and looked after me and the other guests. The rooms at Sterling/Dulles Spark were clean and up to date, and breakfast in the morning was nice, with cereal, coffee, juice, fruit, and more. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The Spark by Hilton Dulles felt like a very basic hotel with too few amenities, and I expected more from Hilton. There isn't a fitness center or pool, and there were no sidewalks anywhere when I tried to go for a walk. Breakfast was a big letdown: a few bagels, old fruit, and oatmeal packets, nothing looked appetizing. The first impression wasn't great either, with old, worn entry doors. I drove in and apparently parked in the Hyatt lot because no one told me where to park. I got charged $15, even though parking at the Spark is free. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the AC quiet, and the TV had plenty of channels. Shower pressure was good, but the shower floor squeaked whenever I moved. The walls were thin, so early showers could bother neighbors. Overall, I left disappointed.

I was here for work and my son's college departure. Parking is free, and the shuttle is reliable and free too. I'll keep choosing this location for early morning international trips.
