Comfort Suites near Westchase on Beltway 8

My place flooded, and I only needed a few hours of sleep, but the front desk experience put me off right away. Prabin should get customer service training. At check-in I was asked for a $100 deposit. I've never heard of that, especially at this location. I could understand $20, but $100 was a no for me. It wasn't listed on the Priceline booking, which was nonrefundable, and I won't use them again. I also won't be back. I'll dispute the charges with my bank. Relux at westchase up the street is a better option. Please address with your employee how important good customer service is. It just wasn't there.

Nabina at the front desk explained things clearly and professionally, which made check-in smooth. The room was comfortable and ready for us, and the front desk staff did an excellent job. It was a great stay.

We were in town for a wedding, and the stay wasn't pleasant. After a late check-in, we found the TV wasn't working and decided to wait until morning. My husband spoke to the front desk the next day and was told maintenance and housekeeping wouldn't arrive until 9, and they'd figure something out then. By 10:30 or 11 there was no update. I understand it might not have seemed urgent to them, since they weren't the ones who paid. The front desk woman suggested they might look around 1 p.m. My husband was getting the runaround, so I asked for a manager and whether we could switch rooms. They said none were clean yet, but they'd see what they could do, since the TV had worked when they checked it before our arrival. That made it sound like they thought we'd broken a TV we hadn't even used. At noon they told us another room was available. This morning my husband was showering when the hot water cut off. I don't know what's going on, but we won't stay at this Comfort Suites on our next trip to Houston.

Cozy, clean rooms, great customer service, and the cleanest fitness center. A great place to stay for a date night out at Sam Houston Race Park!
