Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria

The staff were friendly and helpful, and did a great job keeping the standard Hyatt Place breakfast fresh and stocked. My room had plenty of space, and the bed was comfortable and the room clean. I stayed for three nights in December 2025. The hotel is close to the highway and within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. I’d definitely stay here again.

The people here made the stay feel like home. The front desk team were warm and professional, from check-in and local tips to their cheerful morning greetings. Housekeeping deserves a special mention too: Edith, Gina, and Lupe kept everything spotless and fresh with real care. Queenie’s kindness and leadership clearly bring out teamwork and high standards in the whole group. A hotel is more than its building, and this stay reminded me how much the staff matter. It’s also a great location and a safe place for families. I’ll absolutely be back for this phenomenal team.

The valet was frequently backed up, the text system for requesting a car was down, and the restrooms needed better cleaning. More broadly, the staff seemed poorly trained or unable to handle basic issues. Simple questions got confusion, dismissive responses, or no solution. For the price and what I expected from this hotel, the lack of competence and accountability was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless management makes serious improvements to training and guest support.

It was fine. The staff were friendly, and the gym is better than most hotels this size. The rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast was just the bare minimum, though, and the fruit wasn’t fresh. The berries were thawed.
