Motel 6 Houston, TX - North

The owners and staff are great people, and the service is professional. They keep the whole M6 very clean, from the parking lot and office/lobby to the comfortable rooms. The beds are made nicely, and even the ice machine is super clean. There’s also laundry and a dryer for a charge. This is one of the cleanest and best M6s I’ve been to, so make sure to book ahead. And please clean up after yourself. There are trash cans outside your room near the stairs, so don’t leave rubbish lying around.

My mom and I stayed here while transitioning to our new apt. Jenny and the rest of the staff were awesome, and helped us feel safe and comfortable. 🙏🙏🙏

Room 110 smelled musty and was very dirty. Our feet turned black from the grime on the floor, and we found several cockroaches. I told the front desk, but they didn’t do anything beyond saying they’d tell the cleaning staff. I was disgusted and frustrated, especially since I was there with my two children and their mother.

The desk clerk was kind and moved me to another room, but I found hair all over the covers when I pulled the sheets back. I left and didn't come back. The first room had roaches, and after two rooms that weren't satisfactory, I didn't want to risk trying a third. I basically paid for a room I never slept in.
