Red Lion Inn & Suites IAH Airport East

A really convenient place for Park, Sleep, and Fly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Front desk staff member Todd ran after the airport shuttle to bring back a phone someone had left behind. Amazing service!

My reservation had been made weeks ago, but they cancelled it without telling me. With the storm, everywhere else was booked and there was no help or support. I’m sleeping at the airport because there’s nowhere else. Thanks, Sonesta and Red Lion Inn.

The A/C leaked all over the floor, and we found dead bugs, rusted fixtures, and a badly patched tub. The lighting was just two harsh overhead lights, with no lamps. We got one tiny shampoo bottle and a small bar of soap. There was only one towel for four people, and the front desk was rude and stingy when we asked for more. Room keys didn’t work, so staff had to let us in every time. Our room was ready at 1pm, but they still charged $25 for checking in before 3pm. The advertised pool had been filled in, and the “free breakfast” was only juice, cookies, and honey buns. The place didn’t feel safe or secure. The property is poorly managed and maintained, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay. The advertising was false, the experience was terrible, and I absolutely wouldn’t stay again.

Getting to the airport was easy thanks to the free shuttle that runs around the clock. The staff were kind and helpful, and they even offered to call me before the shuttle arrived so I wouldn't miss it. My room was really clean, and the quick breakfast was much appreciated before my morning flight. I've stayed at other places around Houston, but this one worked out better for me. I'd come back next time I'm in town.
