The staff were very accommodating, and the rates were affordable. The rooms are large and updated, with bright, modern bathrooms, and the atmosphere was quiet with no drama. Access to 183, Belt Line, and Irving Blvd. is easy. For me, this place gets the basics right: location, location, location.

The room itself wasn’t a problem, but the staff were rude and disrespectful. They withheld the hotel tax. Muhammad chased me down the hallway and yelled at me when I picked up my Amazon package, and staff screamed at me several times. Housekeeping went through my things, including my purse. I was there and saw it happen. They didn’t speak English, so I didn’t know what to do. I kept quiet because I didn’t want to be thrown out. The janitor stared at me whenever I was downstairs, and even stared at my friend Sue, making her very uncomfortable. I don’t know what their problem is, but they need to do a lot better.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the room smelled good. I’ve stayed in a lot of crappy places, but this one was pretty nice. I didn’t feel nervous getting under the covers, and the internet was good too.

I’d give zero stars if I could, because of the current front desk staff. They’re cruel and will lie to your face. They let someone else reserve the room I was already staying in, then put me out in the winter storm.
