Comfort Suites DFW Airport

We were put up here after missing our flight, and the stay turned a travel problem into a much easier night. Check-in was simple and the person at the desk was kind and friendly. The room was huge, spotless, and had a really soft bed. Breakfast was great and the area was very clean too. I'd recommend this place.

I booked this for my wife's business trip. She arrived without being told there was no hot water. We were told it would be fixed by the next morning, but the following night there was still no hot water. Then the next night the water stopped running altogether. I cancelled the reservation and booked another hotel where she could actually get hot running water. They refunded only the two nights and kept the rest, even though she didn't stay those nights. The manager has never been available, and my attempts to get a full refund have gone nowhere. Rebooking elsewhere cost more, and I'm now involving the city code enforcement office. I'd strongly advise against staying here.

We'd been trying for weeks to reach management, but each time they were unavailable, even when we'd been told when the manager would be in. I'm contacting corporate now. During our six-day stay, we had no adequate bathing water because it was freezing cold, though staff kept saying in good faith that they were fixing it. On day three, I returned to find no water at all and checked out right away. I believe the hotel shouldn't have kept guests there until service was restored. I watched the front desk tell arriving guests there was temporarily no hot water and that repairs were underway, even though there was no water at all. Another guest later told me it wasn't restored for days. My husband and I were promised a full refund, but they returned only two nights, although I left before the third night. We've been ghosted since. In their response, the hotel has still not resolved our attempts to contact management. Hampton Inn & Suites takes guest safety and health seriously, unlike this place.

For an older hotel, the price was very reasonable, and my room was spotless, organized, and stocked with plenty of amenities. The bed was comfortable enough that I slept a full nine hours, and the room was very quiet. Breakfast runs from 6 AM to 10 AM, sometimes a little later on weekends. It's all-you-can-eat, with sausage, eggs, fruit, several juices, coffee, and bakery items. As a woman traveling alone, I also appreciated the well-lit parking lot when my flight into DFW was delayed and I arrived in the evening.
