Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas DFW Airport South/Irving

Deon was incredibly helpful when we needed a last-minute check-in after another hotel let us down. His accommodating attitude made a rough situation much easier. I had such a positive interaction with him that I’ll keep choosing this hotel when I’m near DFW airport.

Within a few hours of checking in, I found tons of bugs crawling on the wall by the window and air conditioner. I took a video because the photos don’t show how bad it was. They moved me to another room after I asked, but nobody apologized or asked for details that might help them deal with it. It was room 107. The hotel needs to address the cleanliness issue and train staff to handle situations like this better.

The TV in room 200 didn’t work, and the bathroom repairs and other drywall patching were left uneven and unfinished. Seeing that kind of sloppy patch job makes me question what else is being neglected. They don’t seem to pay attention to details.

Brittany at the front desk walked us through everything when we left our car there, and arranged for Rachel to pick us all up on time when we returned early in the morning. My mother was really tired, so we appreciated the help. Great customer service, and we’ll use Fairfield again when flying out of DFW.
