My parents were stranded in Dallas during the winter storm and don't speak English. Manager Sunil patiently took care of them and helped with everything they needed. I was so relieved they could get a room instead of being stuck at the airport all night. The staff also printed the travel documents we needed. Thanks so much for helping us.

Absolutely awful. Housekeeping tried to come in even though the hanger was on the outside of the door. I'm glad I was still dressed. They wouldn't let my family take breakfast back to the room to eat privately and comfortably. We had cereal and waffles you make yourself, plus coffee. Do they really think people will hoard food? They could limit how many plates people take instead. Someone called my senile partner “him.” Take pictures of your room before staying, because they'll try to charge you for damage that was already there at check-in. They may also hold your belongings until you pay, even though Texas law explicitly forbids that. Do yourself a favor and don't stay there. Where's the negative star button?

The rooms were clean, nicely equipped, and well supplied. Breakfast was good, the staff were attentive, and there were decent exercise equipment options. I had some initial Wi-Fi trouble, but it was temporary. The property beat my expectations and restored my confidence in the Hawthorn brand. Good value for someone watching their budget. The whole team seemed friendly and proud of the place. Bravo!

As flight crew, we stay at different hotels around DFW, and they usually work with us when a delay means we need a few extra hours. This one wouldn't offer any flexibility, which was really disappointing. I had to leave hours before my early afternoon flight at 1 pm, and that didn't seem like a big ask. After getting off the phone with the front desk, I went down for breakfast, another letdown. There were hardly any decent choices, so I went for a bagel, but there was no butter or cream cheese. I gave up and went back to my room for coffee, but there wasn't any.
