We chose this place partly for its location, near where we planned to have dinner and close enough to the expressway for our morning trip to the beach. The bed and pillows were decent, the AC cooled the room, the TV worked with the TV guide, and the blackout curtains helped us sleep. We rested well enough. People around at night seemed a little sketchy, maybe because we checked in so late, I'm not sure. It might work for a night to bunk down, but I wouldn't recommend it to families or friends. We booked last minute for an overnight stop after seeing decent reviews, but were disappointed. Checking in after 10pm meant calling someone to come to the front desk, and it took a while. Our first room smelled like weed and looked like a $10 motel. They said it wasn't finished yet, so we were moved to a room they considered ready. It was still dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the tub had no shower curtain, and everything looked run down. By then I was too tired to care.

The only good thing I can say is that the attendant was a very nice gentleman. Otherwise, go somewhere else. There was visible mold all over the ceiling, and we left within 15 minutes. With a baby with us, it was scary thinking she'd be breathing that air. The place was dirty, old, and falling apart. I've stayed at several other Extended Stays and had good experiences, but this one was awful. They offered a refund after seeing our pictures, but we're still waiting, and it's been over two weeks. We stayed somewhere else that night. I know it's cheap, but I'd rather pay triple, which is what we did, for a safe, clean place. Edit: Check your records again and stop lying. I'm happy to drive up to Jacksonville and see you stay there yourself. You're running a disgusting “hotel” that should be closed down. I've stayed in better places in third world countries.

I only stayed one night to get away from home for a bit. The front desk manager seemed a little intimidating at first, but he's a good guy. I figure he has to stick to the rules because some people can take advantage and alarm the other guests. It's a nice place and they maintain it well. The room was comfortable, with clean, fresh linens. I can't think of anything negative about the property or staff. My stay was just fine.

The place is very affordable, close to the town center and restaurants, and the rooms were clean. Evee checked us in and out, and she has a wonderful personality. She's really good at her job and knows the property inside out. I can see why she runs the front desk. She handles things well even when the GM isn't there, and seems like she might be a team lead or something. Great job, Evee.

George at the front desk deserves 10 stars. I was hesitant to stay because of some negative reviews, but I couldn't find anything bad about the place. Everything was really good: it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, parking was easy, there was no mold inside, and it was quiet outside. I've traveled frequently for 45 years and know how to judge a hotel. This is a good one, and I'll definitely come back.
