Mrs. Krystal at the front desk was such a friendly face to come back to after long workdays away from home. I also had the pleasure of meeting Beth, the sales director, who was welcoming and made me feel like family. I stay at Hilton hotels often, and this one lived up to the standard I think they should all meet. My room was clean and well kept, the HVAC worked properly, and I had no plumbing problems. I couldn't have been happier with my stay in Jacksonville.

My husband and I spent the weekend here for my birthday, and it was a great stay. Ms. Bella and Reginald were really sweet. Another helpful young woman with glasses was working Saturday (12/20) evening. We'll definitely come back.

The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful during my two-night visit for a Jaguars game. The fitness room was well equipped, with lots of cardio and weight machines. Breakfast was good, though I fumbled with the confusing waffle maker and would've liked more fruit than just apples and oranges. Since it was free, I can't complain. The pool was really cold and unheated, but it was October and I swam anyway. I got a big discount with my Hilton Honors, so the room was very affordable. We all had fun, and I couldn't have asked for more.

The rest of the room was nice, with what looked like new carpet and wallpaper. They might be remodeling, though I'm not sure. I expected a pillow-top mattress like Hampton Inns have always had, but this one wasn't, and I didn't sleep as well. The bathroom could use some updating, and its sliding door wouldn't stay shut.

At $150 a night, I expected a lot more. The breakfast selection was slim, and the room wasn't great. Stains on the wall made it feel dirty, and the bathroom door wouldn't stay closed.
