Wine Country Inn

The coffee situation was another letdown. Around 6:00 PM the next day, I asked reception if they could make more, but the staff member said, “No one wants coffee at this time, so I can’t make a new one.” That felt dismissive and unprofessional. I booked because the listing said the room accommodated five people. It had only two queen beds, and when I asked for a rollaway and offered to pay, one staff member was willing to help, but another said fire department rules meant they couldn’t provide one. That didn’t make sense given the advertised capacity. I spent three nights with all three of my kids sharing one queen bed, which was very uncomfortable and frustrating. This was a nightmare of a stay. The room capacity was misleading and the way it was handled was poor. I wouldn’t recommend it to families.

The staff made the stay easy, with lots of helpful information and extra accommodation. The property was quiet, cute, simple, and well maintained, and it was close to downtown, restaurants, and shops. Our rollaway bed was already in the room when we arrived and was comfortable. We booked Wine Country Inn that morning for one night to attend a nearby wedding, and got the last room available. Our single bed room was clean, cool when we arrived in 90-degree weather, and roomy enough for us and everything we brought. It was right by a fenced grassy dog park, perfect for our four-legged road trip companion. The wedding venue, winery, and tasting room were just a five-minute drive away. We scored, and will definitely be back for a concert at the amphitheater or a long weekend of wine tasting. Thanks for having us!

It was such a good value for the price, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The area was quiet and pretty, and it was great to park right outside the room. Inside, our room was spacious, clean, beautiful, and comfortable, with nice storage. We were warmly welcomed with a small map showing when places were open. Wine was available to buy, and my daughter picked up a bottle of a family favorite from a nearby winery. I’d give more stars if I could!

I loved this place and can’t wait to book again. The inn is an easy walk from town and all the restaurants, and the staff were friendly. They gave me a map and a list of restaurants in town. I only stayed one night because I’d misbooked my Ashland stay, but my room was spacious, clean, and, best of all, quiet. I’d have been happy to spend the whole week there.
