Wyndham Garden Jacksonville

The young woman at the front desk was amazing, and everyone was so nice when I asked room service for an extra blanket because it was winter and cool. I slept really well before heading out for my cruise. Lots of people stay here the night before cruises to get on the big ship. They were very accommodating, and I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The location made it easy to get around Jacksonville, with shopping, restaurants, and major roads close by. The hotel felt inviting, the shared areas were tidy, and my room was clean, spacious, and well kept. The bedding was comfortable and the essentials were there. Staff were attentive, professional, and friendly whenever I had a question or request. From check-in through departure, everything was smooth and well organized. I found Wyndham Jacksonville comfortable and good value, and would happily stay again or recommend it to visitors.

We showed up without a booking, and the front desk staff were welcoming and really helpful. The hotel was clean and looked well cared for, with a comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, and lots of fresh towels. They also let us check out later at no extra charge. It was an easy stop, right off the highway, and a hassle-free stay.

I wish I could post the photos. The towels were dingy, and the bathroom counter had mold. The bathroom was so small you could barely turn around. When I reported a nasty blood stain on the mattress cover, they turned the sheets inside out and put them back with the same stain. I left a tip as I usually do, but the person took the towels we had and left only one washcloth. They’d run out of washcloths, so gave us bath mats to dry off with. The elevator was extremely slow. Unsanitary! In response: I DEFINITELY stayed there. The room was under my friend’s name. I have the receipt for this overpriced room, showing the reservation number, along with pictures of the bathroom counter mold and the nasty spot on the bed. A friend in another room had some of the same issues, and I can post those photos too. I’ve put this review on other sites and will keep doing so to warn people, since you disputed my review instead of doing anything about the problems.
