Best Western Hospitality Inn

The breakfast was the same every day and nothing like what was advertised. It sounds like there’s a smorgasbord only when corporate is coming down. We had several room problems too. The sink wouldn’t drain, the toilet kept running and needed its handle held down to flush, and the microwave and refrigerator didn’t work. After three days, a cleaning person got us a microwave from another room. Some rooms have cockroaches, and things that need fixing don’t get fixed properly. They quoted a different price each night. A room listed at $60 cost $70 when we paid cash, and they kept the extra $10. They also wouldn’t give us a receipt for cash, so it looked like the money wasn’t being claimed. They took money from our card without permission, then called it a fee. We had to get the police involved. After the police left, they said we had to leave because we’d called them, and that our money wouldn’t be refunded. When we tried talking to the staff, they just brushed us off. Think twice before staying here.

I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, especially for what the stay cost. The bathroom didn’t feel clean at all, and the cleaning overall was extremely poor. There were bugs throughout the room, including a roach in the bed, which was disturbing and unacceptable. The TV remote barely worked too, so even using that was frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend the Clarion Hotel unless they make major improvements.

I was there for almost two years, and I had a wonderful stay. The location was great, and the staff were amazing. Housekeepers took care of what we needed. A few minor things could’ve been fixed, but otherwise I’d happily stay at the Clarion again.

The staff were pretty nice, but the rooms were disgustingly dirty. I’m staying in two rooms right now as I write this, trying to laugh it off with a drink. There was a six-inch stain on the carpet, a pop bottle cap on the floor, a reusable plastic bag left behind, and old Coke bottles and deodorant spray in a dresser. This is the second dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in. Spend the extra $20 and go somewhere else.
