We barely slept because the HVAC made a high, metallic ping every hour or so, loud enough to wake us. The room looked nice at first, but we found a used bar of soap in the shower and what seemed like blood stains on the fitted sheets. There was no bottled water in the convenience store, either. Check-in was delayed while staff rebooted their computers.

Breakfast could use more choices. Otherwise, we had no complaints during our week-long stay. The hotel was clean and cozy, and we liked it.

The food at breakfast wasn't the best, though the staff serving it were pleasant. At the front desk, everyone was friendly and accommodating, and we had a good experience overall.

The pool was closed, which disappointed the kids in our group, including my grandkids. We had a room with two queen beds. Mine was pretty comfortable, but the other person said theirs was too soft and not comfortable. The rooms themselves were very nice.

The location worked well for us, with plenty of parking and quick elevators. The room was clean and nice, and housekeeping was on top of bringing fresh linens when we needed them. My son found the pool clean and warm. The bathroom looked great, though its shower door was slightly out of alignment and wouldn't shut all the way. Breakfast had enough variety that it didn't feel like the same meal each day. The biscuits and gravy were the best I've had at a hotel's complimentary breakfast, and the staff kept everything fresh and clean. The front desk team was helpful throughout our week. We had a small delay getting a crib for my grandson, but they sorted it out quickly. One of the best SpringHill Suites I've stayed at, and I'd recommend it for a Kansas City area trip.
