Rodeway Inn & Suites Kearney

For a two-star motel, it was clean and I got a comfortable night’s sleep, though it could use updates. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly, the shower pressure was good, there were lots of channels, and the AC worked well. The TV was small, the pillows weren’t great, and some paint was needed. I didn’t try breakfast.

If this is the Rodeway Inn in Kearney NE, I found the room clean and comfortable, with lots of channels on the TV. Breakfast was limited, though I didn’t expect much at a less expensive motel. A dog in another room started barking around 10pm. The room phone didn’t work, so I called the motel from my own phone. The dog quieted down, but around 11pm a group of people, including motel staff, argued loudly outside my room. I got up and made my displeasure clear. After that, I slept very well.

The place was exceptionally clean, just as the reviews had led me to expect, and that alone makes it worth choosing. I picked it because it welcomes dogs. Mike the manager and the woman who checked me in were both very nice. There was good pressure and hot water, plus a fridge and microwave in the room if you need them. It’s in a good spot, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and they offer free breakfast. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The managers were friendly and attentive, and the location was excellent, close to places to eat. The lobby felt clean and welcoming, the room was spacious, cheerful, clean, and nicely furnished, and breakfast was good and hot. Making the reservation was easy. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m traveling through the area.
