Kona Kai Resort and Gallery - Adults Only

There’s plenty to do here, from pickleball and yoga a couple of times a week to kayaking and paddleboarding in the little cove behind the break wall. The yoga instructor was great and adapted the class to your ability. When you’re done with the ocean, there’s a pool and hot tub too. 😋 The rooms are roomy, very clean, and simply but tastefully decorated. The wall mounted heat and AC is very quiet. The grounds feel like a botanical garden, and there’s a nice little gallery. It’s peaceful and easy to relax here. Staff are super friendly and helpful, including with recommendations for dining and activities. We loved our stay and will absolutely go back.

We had our wedding here, and the whole stay was memorable for us and for the family and friends who traveled to join us. The setting was perfect, with beautiful grounds and phenomenal sunsets. It’s a lovely, first class resort with an amazing staff. We’ll be back and definitely recommend it.

I came across Kona Kai Resort on Google and found exactly the peaceful, relaxing getaway I’d hoped for. The greenery, location by the water, clean pools, and complimentary services all made for an easy, enjoyable stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. My cousin and I are still staying at Kona Kai in the Pineapple Suite, but I had to write while we’re here because it’s been that good. Everyone we’ve met has been so welcoming and friendly, a 10/10 for service. It’s quiet and surrounded by greenery, and the heated pool and jacuzzi have made it even more relaxing. There’s plenty to do on the property, plus lots of good restaurants nearby. This was exactly the few-day escape I wanted. We liked it enough to add an extra night, and extending was super easy. We’re already looking forward to coming back and making it our go-to spot in Key Largo.
