Amanda answered my questions quickly and made sure we had what we needed. The place was very clean and spacious, with a screened porch that we really enjoyed. We liked the pool and elevated decks with ocean views, and the outdoor grill was a nice extra. The location was great, close to the beach, restaurants and things to see and do. We stayed at the Saltaire Cottages a couple of weeks ago, and it’ll be on our list for our next Outer Banks trip.

The screened porch is our favorite spot, and the cottages in the back of the property are peaceful and quiet. We’ve stayed at Saltaire Cottages twice, in #11 and #1, and love it. There’s plenty of room for our group of five or six, and it’s a short walk to the pool or beach. Amanda hosted us this past weekend (2025) and kept in touch to make sure everything was going well. We hope we can stay again soon, and plan to return on each Outer Banks trip.

Cottage #12 was just right for our group of six family members. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were really comfortable. It’s hard to get much closer to the beach without paying beachfront prices, and I appreciated being able to rent chairs directly from Saltaire. Amanda manages the cottages and gave top-notch service, replying quickly whenever I had questions. We had a fabulous time and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Beach access is right across the street from Saltaire Cottages, and from there it’s only a few more steps to the sand. As the one who ends up carrying all the beach gear, I appreciated how close it was. Amanda answered my questions quickly and was very responsive. We rented unit #14, an entire house, for six people, four adults and two kids, and it fit us perfectly. It was clean and had what we needed to get started on the trip, with plenty of convenient parking. The large pool was close by, with ample seating that both kids and adults enjoyed. Our first stay was amazing, and we’ll be back. Great find!

We’ve been to Saltaire twice this summer for weekend trips, and both stays were great. We’re very pleased with the accommodations and location, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. We’ll stay again and would recommend it.
